Assignments control which products and categories a gallery rule applies to. Every gallery rule has an Assignments tab where you configure its scope.
Assignment Types
Global
The rule applies to all products in the store. This is the simplest setup and is recommended when you want one consistent gallery experience across your entire catalog.
By Category
The rule applies only to products belonging to the selected WooCommerce product categories. Use this to show a different gallery layout for electronics versus clothing, for example.
By Product
The rule applies only to the specific products you select. Use the product search field to find and add individual products by name or ID.
Rule Priority
When multiple rules could apply to the same product, the most specific rule takes priority:
Product > Category > Global
Saving Assignments
Assignments are saved independently from the main gallery settings. Click the Save Assignments button in the Assignments tab to persist any changes to the assignment scope.
