Gallery Rules are saved presets that define how the product gallery looks and behaves. Each rule contains a complete set of gallery, zoom, lightbox, video, and mobile settings. Rules can be assigned to your entire store, specific product categories, or individual products.
The free version of the plugin includes one gallery rule. The Pro version supports unlimited rules, allowing you to create completely different gallery experiences for different sections of your store.
Working with Rules
Creating a Rule
Click the Add New button on the Gallery Rules list page. The new rule opens immediately in the settings editor where you can configure all options and give it a meaningful name.
Editing a Rule
Click the rule title or the Edit link in the action menu on the list page.
Duplicating a Rule (Pro)
Use the Duplicate action in the row action menu to clone an existing rule along with all its settings.
Trashing and Restoring a Rule
Use the Trash action to soft-delete a rule. Trashed rules can be restored from the Trash filter view. Use Delete Permanently to remove a rule completely.
Bulk Actions
Select multiple rules using the checkboxes and apply Trash, Restore, or Delete Permanently to all selected rules at once.
Rule Status
- Active — The rule is applied to the products/categories assigned to it.
- Draft — The rule exists but is not applied anywhere on the storefront.
- Trash — The rule is soft-deleted and not applied anywhere.
