The zoom feature allows customers to inspect product images in high detail without leaving the product page. Multiple zoom modes are available depending on your plan.
Zoom Types
Inner Zoom (Free)
When a customer hovers over the main product image, the image expands in place, filling the same container at a magnified scale. The customer moves the cursor to pan around the zoomed image.
Hover Zoom (Free)
Similar to inner zoom but with a separate cursor follower effect that moves with the mouse, giving a more interactive feel.
Lens Zoom (Pro)
A circular or square magnifying lens appears on top of the image under the cursor, showing a magnified region in real time. Lens size, shape, border color, and border width are all configurable.
Window Zoom (Pro)
A separate zoom panel appears beside the product image and displays the magnified region. Customers move the cursor over the main image to control what is shown in the zoom window. See the Zoom Window (Advanced) article for all configuration options.
Zoom Settings
Zoom Level
The magnification multiplier. A value of 2 means the zoomed view shows the image at 2× its displayed size.
Zoom on Hover
Enable or disable zoom activation on mouse hover. When disabled, customers must click to activate zoom.
Zoom Cursor
Sets the CSS cursor style displayed over the image while zoom is active. Options include crosshair, zoom-in, and default.
Zoom Easing
Applies a smooth animation to the zoom pan movement. The easing amount controls how “floaty” or “snappy” the pan response feels.
Disable Zoom on Small Images
Prevents zoom from activating when the source image is too small to benefit from magnification, avoiding a blurry zoom experience.
Zoom Before Load
When enabled, the zoom effect can be triggered even before all product images have finished loading.
